# Section Analytics Overview

> Section Analytics is a Pro-only dashboard showing how each installed section performs on your store. See total views, clicks, CTR, time spent, top performers, and AI-generated recommendations — all filterable by 30, 60, or 90 days.

Section Analytics is a performance dashboard available to Pro plan subscribers that shows how each installed section is performing on your Shopify store. Instead of guessing which sections are engaging your visitors, you get actual data to make informed design decisions.

<Note>
  Section Analytics is available on the Pro Monthly ($9/month) and Pro Annual ($81/year) plans only. It is not available on the Free plan. If you are not on Pro, the Analytics page will prompt you to upgrade.
</Note>

## **How to Access Analytics**

Click **Analytics** in the left sidebar of the Iconic Sections app. The dashboard loads with data for all sections currently installed on your store.

<Note>
  Analytics data begins collecting from the moment sections are installed on your store. There is no historical data available for time periods before installation, and no data is available for sections that have not yet been installed.
</Note>

## **Choosing a Time Range**

At the top of the Analytics page, use the **Time Range** selector to choose your reporting period:

* Last **30 days**

* Last **60 days**

* Last **90 days**

All metrics on the page update to reflect the selected period.

## **Performance Overview**

The Performance Overview section shows four top-level metrics for all your sections combined during the selected period:

* **Total Views** — the total number of times any of your sections was seen by a visitor

* **Total Clicks** — the total number of clicks across all sections

* **Average CTR** — the average click-through rate across all sections (clicks ÷ views × 100)

* **Average Time Spent** — the average time visitors spent looking at your sections

These numbers give you a quick read on overall engagement before diving into individual section performance.

## **Top Performing Sections**

This section highlights which sections stand out in three categories:

* **Highest CTR** — the section getting the most clicks relative to the number of views

* **Highest Engagement** — the section where visitors spend the most time and scroll the deepest

* **Most Closed** — the section associated with the most visitor exit or conversion interactions

Use these to identify which sections are your strongest performers and consider featuring them more prominently on your store.

## **Recommendations**

The Recommendations panel flags sections that may need attention and suggests specific improvements. Each recommendation is labeled with one of these signals:

* **High Click Rate** — performing well; continue as is

* **Low Engagement** — visitors are not spending much time or interacting; the section may need stronger content or a call-to-action

* **High CTR** — strong performance; consider A/B testing or promoting this section further

Act on the low engagement flags first — those sections represent the biggest opportunity for improvement.

## **Detailed Section Analytics Table**

At the bottom of the page, a table lists every installed section with its individual metrics:

* **Views**

* **Clicks**

* **Avg. Time Spent**

* **Avg. Scroll Depth**

* **CTR**

Sort the table by any column to find your best and worst performing sections quickly.
