# How to Upgrade or Downgrade Your Plan

> Upgrade to Pro in a few clicks from the Pricing page. Switching billing cycles requires cancelling and resubscribing. Downgrading from Pro removes access to Conversion Blocks and Analytics but keeps your installed sections in place.

You can change your Iconic Sections plan at any time. This guide covers how to upgrade, switch billing cycles, and downgrade — along with what each change means for your installed sections.

## **How to Upgrade from Free to Pro**

1. In the Iconic Sections app, click **Pricing** in the left sidebar.

2. At the top of the page, use the **Monthly / Annual** toggle to choose your preferred billing cycle.

3. Click **Get Pro**.

4. Shopify's billing prompt appears — review the subscription terms and click **Approve**.

5. Pro features are activated immediately.

After upgrading, you have instant access to all paid sections, Conversion Blocks, Section Analytics, and all other Pro features.

## **How to Switch Between Monthly and Annual Billing**

Switching between billing cycles (for example, from monthly to annual to save 25%) requires cancelling your current plan and resubscribing on the new cycle:

1. Go to the **Pricing** page and click **Cancel plan** under your current Pro subscription.

2. Confirm the cancellation — your Pro access continues until the end of the current billing period.

3. Once the period ends, return to the Pricing page and subscribe to the other billing cycle.

  If you want to switch from monthly to annual mid-cycle, contact the support team at arhamwebworks.com/contact — they may be able to assist with the transition without waiting for the billing period to end.

## **What Happens When You Downgrade from Pro to Free**

If you cancel Pro and return to the Free plan:

* **Sections already installed** on your themes remain in place — they are not automatically removed from your theme files

* **Paid sections** that were included in your Pro subscription become inaccessible for new installations unless you purchase them individually; sections already installed continue to function while in the theme

* **Conversion Blocks** become locked — they will no longer display on your store's product pages and will be hidden or non-functional

* **Section Analytics** becomes inaccessible — the data is not deleted but you cannot view it on the Free plan

* **One-time purchased sections** (bought before or during your Pro subscription) remain fully yours and can still be installed

  Before downgrading, review your installed sections and note which ones are paid sections you accessed via Pro. After downgrading, you may want to purchase specific ones individually to maintain permanent access.
